must watch! 2022-23 Club Season Video

congratulations to OVA teams for a great season

This was our best season to date. All teams did really well and placed high within their own leagues. We're excited for the future at OVA!

Multiple 1st place finishes in NCVA and PVA by 16 Blaine, 14 Necoll, 13 Rich, 12 Blaine... OVA 13 Rich/ Tanya places 1st in Gold at NCVA. They won 25-7, 25-8 in the finals, and ended the season with an overall record of 48-4.

There were lots of improvements with all teams and individuals, and we're excited for next club season.

OVA training process

Our process for creating successful athletes is with our GMS philosophy and model. We believe that if we teach and train athletes the proper way, we can accelerate the learning process. At every training session, we are consistently assessing players and motivating them to learn, while building confidence.

We teach advanced techniques for all players and preparing them for varsity volleyball. While most clubs are placing players on Premier and Power teams in their first year as club players, we emphasize our Prime --> Premier -->Power training progression

My 20+ years of teaching youth development has enabled me to create this foundation, while observing many players make their high school teams, and having successful collegiate careers.

OVA Gives Back

During these trying times, I have been handing out food at Leataata Elementary School to much needed families. Additionally, I have been donating soccer jerseys to children. It feels good to give back! Thanks to Kombat Soccer for their contribution of the jerseys. It's made many kids smile! -RR

Testimonials from Parents

The ENTIRE OVA coaching staff is fantastic--knowledgeable, professional, patient, and encouraging.  Thanks for giving our kids of all skill levels a chance and instilling confidence in them!!  --VVF

The positive training environment and the bonds she has made with her teammates are just a couple of reasons why my daughter enjoys playing for OVA. As a beginner she has learned so much already and it’s wonderful seeing her confidence grow! Thank you OVA!!
-Claire

Giving to Children of Colombia

OVA gives back! The purpose for OVA Foundation is to provide children from Colombia with much needed volleyball equipment to our little sister club in Calima, and clothing to the boys and girls of Bolivar. My recent trip to Colombia in December 2019, was to give boys and girls from my mother's home town of Bolivar the gift of clothing. My next trip to Colombia is to provide volleyballs, t-shirts, shoes and uniforms to our newly adopted volleyball academy in Calima, and more clothing and shoes to the youth of Bolivar. Thank you Kombat Ink for your kind donations.
